Tours

Terms & Conditions - last updated April 2023

  • Checking In

    The departure time and location of your tour will be published on your booking confirmation email.


    Arrival in time for your tour departing and locating the departure points are the customers responsibility


    Check in for your tour will open at the departure point 15 minutes prior to the published departure time.


    The quicker we get you checked in and aboard your tour vehicle,  the quicker we depart for our tour. This benefits all customers, and allows us to make the most of the allocated tour time.

  • Tour Timings

    Our return times stated are estimated. Due to the unpredictable nature of travel, we cannot guarantee these times.


    Please have this in mind when arranging any further travel connections, as we are not responsible for your missed travel connections.


    We strongly advise procuring travel insurance in the unfortunate event that you are unable to reach connecting travel arrangements.

  • Tour Changes

    Due to circumstances beyond our control Stewart Tours reserve the right to alter iteneraries at any time. These include, but are not limited to, adverse weather conditions, problems with traffic / transport links and availability of attractions.

  • Vehicle Type

    Stewart Tours reserves the right to change the vehicle make and model on any tour.

  • Conduct on our Vehicles

    The consumption of alcohol, illegal substances and smoking are not permitted on any of the vehicles used on our tours  


    Stewart Tours reserves the right to refuse to carry any person whose conduct or manner is likely to cause offence or upset to other passengers. In such cases full cancellation charges to the passenger apply, and Stewart Tours shall have no further liability to that passenger.

  • Tour Costs

    Tour prices are for transport and Driver-Guide only. All other attraction entrance fees, cruise tickets, food and drink, accommodation etc, are additional optional extras, payable locally by the Customer at their own expense.


    Stewart Tours do negotiate reduced rates at most tourist attractions and historical sites visited for Customers.


    Concessionary prices are offered to persons over the age of 60 and children between 5 and 16 years. We regret that children under 5 years cannot be carried. Children 16 years and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • Attraction Tickets / Optional Extras

    Customers can book tickets for optional tour attractions via the online portal at the time of booking. 


    Depending on the tour, you may be able to book attractions onboard our coach on the morning of your tour. Please note that attractions are not exclusively run by Stewart Tours and we are dependant on the attraction having capacity. 

  • Insurance Policy

    We strongly recommend that passengers hold comprehensive and suitable travel, medical and cancellation insurance to cover for eventualities during travel.

  • Force Majure

    Stewart Tours does not accept any liability for any loss, inconvenience or damage caused by war, threat of war, riot or civil commotion, terrorist or criminal activity, industrial disputes, natural disasters, fires, illness, weather conditions, road traffic conditions, temporary technical, electrical or mechanical breakdown.

  • Cancellations

    Where the Customer cancels their scheduled tour reservation, the following terms and conditions apply:


    For cancellations made more than 24 hrs before departure, a 100% refund will be given.


    For cancellations made less than 24 hrs before departure, there will be no refund.


    In the unfortunate event that Stewart Tours cancels your tour, we will issue a full refund or agree suitable alternative.

Coach Hire & Private Tours

  • Changes to your Booking

    Just contact our Team. 


    Depending on the scale of changes, you may incur additional charges and will be invoiced accordingly.   

  • Payment

    For coach hire bookings we require full payment 14 days in advance of your departure date. 


    If you are booking within 14 days of departure, we require full payment at the time of booking.

  • Conduct on our Vehicles

    The consumption of alcohol, illegal substances and smoking are not permitted on any of the vehicles.  


    Stewart Tours reserves the right to refuse to carry any person whose conduct or manner is likely to cause offence or upset to other passengers. In such cases full cancellation charges to the passenger apply, and Stewart Tours shall have no further liability to that passenger.

  • Insurance Policy

    We strongly recommend that passengers hold comprehensive and suitable travel, medical and cancellation insurance to cover for eventualities during travel.

  • Cancellations

    Where the Customer cancels their scheduled tour reservation, the following terms and conditions apply:


    For cancellations made more than 7 days before departure, a 100% refund will be given.


    For cancellations made less than 7 days before departure, deposit will be retained and the remaining value refunded at discretion of Stewart Tours. 


    Customer will be invoiced for the cost of any ticket sales, goods or services pre purchased as part of tour package.


    In the unfortunate event that Stewart Tours cancels your booking, we will issue a full refund.

  • Additional Services

    We are flexible and do our best to help extend your hours or assist with unscheduled stops where possible. This will be at the discretion of the driver and may involve a fee for extra hire time.  


    For an additional charge we can provide water onboard our coaches that have refrigerated units.
